It's one thing to know that "self-love is a good thing", but if we don't truly understand why our self-judgment and criticism is holding us back, we're not actively going to let it go. Your brain is smart like that. It will hold on to anything that's easy and automatic in order to save energy, even if it might not be good for you.
If you struggle in your relationship and don't feel like you're showing up as the kind of girlfriend you want to be... I promise that judging yourself and beating yourself up is not going to get you there any sooner.
It can feel uncomfortable or scary to let go of that judgment because it might feel like you're going to get even worse if you do. But the opposite is true. Once you've created a safe inner environment that allows for change, you will see much quicker and longer-lasting results.
